At Citrusvil, personal growth is a strategic pillar that supports the continuous improvement and development of an integrated and sustainable citrus production. Through policies, management methodologies, and training programs, the company strengthens its teams’ skills and promotes a culture based on learning and operational excellence.
The experiences of collaborators such as Eduardo Guevara, Paola Lazarte, and Cyntia Gómez reflect how investing in human capital generates a real impact on quality, efficiency, and innovation within Citrusvil, enhancing both personal performance and the organization’s results.
Eduardo Guevara: technical excellence to improve the quality of our products
With a degree in Biotechnology, Eduardo Guevara joined Citrusvil in 2017 as a laboratory chemist in the essential oils area. His career has been closely linked to the development of specialized knowledge in microbiology and sensory analysis, key areas for ensuring the quality of lemon by-products.
Today, he serves as the head of the Microbiology department and also leads the sensory analysis panel. His ongoing training and technical initiative were essential for developing unique tools, such as the sensory attributes wheel and the aroma library, which highlight the profile and identity of the essential oils produced by Citrusvil.
“At the company, I strengthened my skills in microbiology and was able to innovate in practices that optimize processes. The development of our own tools allowed us to emphasize the value of our products in the market,” says Eduardo.
Paola Lazarte’s professional growth: from intern to Administration Manager
Paola Lazarte began her career in 2006 as an intern at Citrusvil. With commitment, continuous training, and the support of the company, she built a career that led her to hold leadership positions, eventually becoming Administration Manager in 2023.
She is a certified public accountant and holds an MBA from Universidad del Norte Santo Tomás de Aquino (UNSTA) and a specialization in management skills from Universidad de Belgrano. Among the milestones of her career is her participation in the migration and implementation of the SAP S4 Hana system, a key project for Citrusvil’s administrative and operational efficiency.
“This company allowed me to train and grow. I have had great mentors who guided me at every stage. I deeply believe in the value of human capital and the impact of supporting teams in their development,” Paola emphasizes.
Cyntia Gómez: innovation and analysis to strengthen management in Primary Production
Cyntia Gómez joined Citrusvil in 2015 as an Accounting Analyst. Her dedication to continuous improvement and learning led her to take on the role of Primary Production Controller in 2021, where she works on cost analysis, planning, and monitoring for one of the company’s most strategic sectors.
As part of her MBA at UNSTA, she developed a thesis based on a citrus management program that integrates artificial intelligence and multidisciplinary teams, a project that received the highest grade and promoted the incorporation of tools such as Power BI to optimize decision-making.
“The support of my leaders and the Human Capital department was essential. Working alongside the field teams allowed me to increase my understanding of the business essence. That collaborative learning is key to keep growing,” says Cyntia.

Academic training as a strategic ally: MBA from the UNSTA Business School
Interaction with educational institutions is an essential component in strengthening internal talent. The MBA from the UNSTA Business School is a key ally in this process.
“An MBA develops a systemic vision. It allows you to make decisions taking into consideration a company’s overall operation,” explains Máximo Bulacio, Director of the MBA and the Business School.
He also highlights that this training helps consolidate organizational culture, align objectives, and strengthen the ability to adapt in a competitive and changing environment.
A commitment that builds the future
The Human Capital department works with a strategic vision aimed at developing the skills needed to support the evolution of the business and the transformation of the citrus sector.
“Our commitment to the development of our collaborators is based on the belief that each person can make a significant contribution to the company’s growth. Investing in their training is key to building a present and future of excellence,” says José Luis Palacio, Human Capital Manager.
