Founded in the 1970s, Citrusvil is a leading company in the global market, engaged in the production and industrialization of lemons and their by-products.
We are leaders in the Argentine citrus industry. We produce and process lemon-based products with a strong commitment to sustainability, innovation, and regional development in Argentina.
We work from the source, caring for the environment, people, and quality at every stage of the chain.
Conventional & Organic
Products for the beverage, flavor, and fragrance industries.
Our products are used in the production processes of juices, carbonated beverages, ice cream, pectin, dietary fibers, and other products.
The quality of our products begins in the nursery, where our goal consists in growing plants characterized by their guaranteed health and varietal certainty. These characteristics will later influence their adaptation, development, longevity, and ability to reach their full productive potential.
Our productive orchards, certified by Global GAP and Global GAP GRASP standards, provide 85% of the fruit we process.
The company produces about 300,000 tons per year and employs over 3,000 workers during the harvesting season.
Our industrial processing plants have a grinding capacity of 350,000 tons of fruit per harvesting season and state-of-the-art equipment that enables us to develop tailor-made solutions and make progress in the research to improve our value chain.
The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) approved our goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050 and our near- and long-term greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction targets.
This commitment is in line with climate science and the Paris Agreement and positions us as a global leader in the decarbonization journey in the citrus industry.
Citrusvil prioritizes sustainability in all its processes, a commitment that led us to develop a sustainably integrated production system.
As a member company of Grupo Lucci, our greatest commitment is to strike a balance between economic growth and sustainable development in northwestern Argentina by offering products that meet international quality standards while caring for the environment and contributing to the social progress of the communities where we operate.
Our sustainability strategy is in keeping with the European Green Deal and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) defined by the United Nations.
These strategic guidelines are reflected in our commitment to sustainability.
