Creating the Future: the program that empowers young professionals

This initiative promotes the development of new professionals through real projects, mentoring, and ongoing training within Citrusvil.

At Citrusvil, people development is central to building an organization that is prepared for the current and future challenges of the citrus industry. With this vision in mind, Creating the Future (Creando Futuro), the Young Professionals Program designed to attract, train, and support new talent seeking to start their professional careers in a dynamic, innovative, and operationally excellence-oriented industrial environment, was launched in 2024.

This initiative reaffirms Citrusvil’s commitment to continuous training, knowledge transfer, and team building.

“This program responds to our vision of strengthening our organization’s capacity by identifying, training, and motivating young professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and leadership in line with the company’s future needs,” says Cecilia Bertikian, Head of Organizational Development.

A program that builds the future

With Creating the Future, Citrusvil consolidates a space where young professionals can apply their knowledge, develop new skills, and become leaders in strategic projects for the company.

The program’s approach is based on three pillars:

• Learning in real contexts

Participants operate in operational and technical areas, where they gain practical experience related to the citrus business.

Mentor support

Each young professional has a mentor who guides their development, promotes autonomy, and encourages active learning.

Impactful projects

Specific challenges are assigned that allow participants to apply their knowledge, innovate, and add value to the operation.

The Young Professionals Program is an opportunity to promote new perspectives, strengthen local talent, and ensure the continuity of an organizational culture based on continuous improvement, collaborative work, and innovation.

Citrusvil continues fostering the development of the people who will shape the future of the business. Because every new talent that joins us is an opportunity for growth, transformation, and building a sustainable path for the entire production chain.
