We manufacture products for the beverage, flavor, and fragrance industries to be used in the production processes of juices, carbonated beverages, ice cream, pectin, dietary fibers, and other products.
At Citrusvil, we work under the highest international standards of quality and food safety.

Essential oils are obtained by puncturing the lemon peel.
This process is carried out in a water tank by forming an emulsion with the released oil, thus preventing its loss into the atmosphere.
The water and the oil are then separated through a filtering and centrifuging process.
Next, the insoluble compounds, called “waxes,” are extracted through cold sedimentation and subsequent filtration, finally obtaining the refined oil, known as “cold-press.”
Natural juice is obtained by squeezing lemons in juice extraction machines.
It is then filtered, its pulp is extracted, and it is finally pasteurized.
To obtain concentrated juices, the natural juice also undergoes an evaporation process. In addition, clarified juices undergo an ultrafiltration process prior to the concentration stage.
Juices are finally cooled, packaged, and frozen at temperatures below -18°C.
Our R&D team is constantly working on new developments, applying science, technology, and market knowledge to offer high value-added solutions for our clients.
Pulp cells are extracted from the juice after an initial filtering stage in which seeds and peels are separated.
After removing particles or defects from the cells using hydrocyclones, they are filtered again and concentrated to 50%.
The pulp is then pasteurized and concentrated to over 80%.
Finally, it is packaged and stored in cold rooms at temperatures below -18°C.
After extracting the oil and the juice, the peel undergoes a process of grinding, washing, draining, and pressing, and is then dehydrated in rotary ovens.
Finally, it is compacted and packaged.
This product is marketed as a raw material for obtaining pectins, which are used as binding agents in food manufacturing.
